Fluxion is the two-person web studio I co-founded. I designed and built the public site, including its motion and enquiry flow.

The situation

Most studio sites describe craft and then look assembled.

We needed a site that could take a real project enquiry without sounding like every other two-person studio in a dark theme.

What it is

My co-founder and I split the work: I took the structure, visual design, copy, motion, and the frontend, including the enquiry form.

The finished site is live and client-facing. It introduces both founders, explains our process, and gives prospective clients a direct way to start a project.

Our first piece of client-facing work was our own site.

What changed during the build

Shipping it meant making practical calls about order, type, motion, form behaviour, and what we could maintain as a two-person studio.

Taamboolam: hospitality website

Client need: A small hospitality business needed a site that could explain the offer and take enquiries.
Timeline: About three weeks from the first brief to the live site.
Constraint: Requirements, scope, and price were agreed with the client first, then the build had to hold up against real implementation limits.
My role: Designed and shipped by the two of us. My side: interface design, the enquiry flow, production QA, and deployment.
Collaboration: Fluxion is a two-person practice; this receipt states my own contribution rather than a split.
Revision: Client revisions were worked through in the build rather than handed off at the design file.
Shipped: Live at taamboolam.com on the client's own domain, with its enquiry flow deployed.
Client response: Positive informal feedback after launch. The client later offered a separate Google Business Profile and advertising assignment.
